Estonia will send a new package of military aid to Ukraine

The government of Estonia supported the decision to send a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country.

It is indicated that the aid package will be collected from the reserves of the Estonian Defense Forces, «taking into account the needs of Ukraine, but at the same time in such a way that the defense capability of Estonia is not affected.» The package will include naval uniforms, surveillance devices, sights, ballistic protection and various types of ammunition.

«This aid package will not be the last, and soon we will open an annual program of support for Estonian companies on a competitive basis, which will allow Ukraine to receive assistance in the production of products of the Estonian defense industry. This will not only support Ukraine, but also the economy and security of Estonia itself,» the message reads.

Earlier it was reported that Estonia was supposed to transfer to Ukraine means to strengthen its own cyberspace within the IT coalition.
