Zelenskyy: «Putin will die soon — it's a fact, and it will all end»

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has suggested that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is afraid of losing his power and will soon die.

He said this in an interview with European journalists.

Answering a question about Putin's fears, Zelenskyy said that the main threat to him is the destabilisation of Russian society. According to him, this could happen under the influence of increased sanctions pressure from Ukraine's international partners.

In addition, the President of Ukraine believes that the Russian president is afraid of being left alone and losing his power, which, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is due to the Kremlin leader's age.

«He will die soon, it's a fact. And everything will be over,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

He also called Vladimir Putin's life «an unsuccessful historical existence».

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Vladimir Putin «is afraid to tell» US President Donald Trump directly that Russia wants to continue the war. According to him, this is why Moscow is framing the idea of silence with such preconditions that «nothing happens at all or that it doesn't happen for as long as possible».
