In Ukraine, the application of Oblenergo schedules of hourly blackouts and the fairness of the distribution of electricity in the regions will be thoroughly checked.

The head of the department, Ruslan Slobodian, said this on the air of the telethon, reports the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine

«We are carefully monitoring the flow of appeals from citizens regarding the unfair distribution (of electricity, note). And we already see several areas where, obviously, an in-depth inspection will take place in the near future. It will be studied on the ground how exactly the operator of the distribution system followed the principle of social justice during the distribution of electricity,» said Ruslan Slobodian.

According to him, the Dnipropetrovsk region is leading in the number of complaints. The inspection will begin with it, after which 5-6 more regions will be inspected.

He also suspects that some regional energy companies «didn't apply the hourly outage schedules quite correctly.»

We will remind that «Mykolayivoblenergo» has published the schedule of hourly outages for queues that have been in effect since July 11.
