In Mykolaiv, the court ordered developers in the Tsentralnyi district of the city to pay 9 million hryvnias for the development of the community.

The prosecutor's office of the Mykolaiv region informed about it.

It is noted that a number of developers have not paid their share in the development of Mykolaiv's infrastructure. As reported by the prosecutor's office, the Mykolaiv city council, in turn, «did not take measures to recover these funds from the budget.»

«Having completed the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings in the Tsentralnyi district of Mykolaiv during the years 2021-2023, the developers did not pay the payment to the local budget determined by the law. These funds should be used for the creation and development of the city's infrastructure, which is extremely important in the conditions of martial law,» the report says.

Therefore, a claim was filed, which the court satisfied. The developers paid 9 million hryvnias to the city budget.

We would like to remind you that in Mykolaiv the rent rate was reduced from 3% to 1% for communal land for developers and entrepreneurs who were affected by the war.

In May 2024, Mykolaiv businessmen appealed to the editorial office of NikVesti and asked the authorities to review tax rates and reduce the rent for the use of land by 50% for the possibility of conducting commercial activities. In addition, the deputies were also asked to reduce the rent for the land used by the Ministry of Defense.

In June, members of the city council's legality commission supported such an initiative. The Department of Finance was instructed to prepare amendments to the already existing draft decision on determining the amount of rent for land and to make changes in the part of replacing 3% with 1% for land under current construction.
