In 2024, taxes to the budgets of all levels in Mykolaiv region totalled 22.8 billion hryvnias.

This is 19.2% or 3.7 billion hryvnias more than in 2023, according to the State Tax Service of Mykolaiv region.

The state budget received almost 13.2 billion hryvnias, which is 73.1% or 5.6 billion hryvnias more than in the same period last year.

At the same time, 9.6 billion hryvnias was paid to local budgets. This is an increase of 2.1 billion hryvnias compared to the previous year, excluding the personal income tax paid by military personnel, which is now credited to the state budget.

On Thursday, 10 October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed in the second reading the draft law №11416d on tax increases. Almost all MPs from Mykolaiv region supported this decision.

It should be noted that in late November 2024, President Zelenskyy also signed a law on tax increases. It is expected that the state's tax revenue in 2025 will amount to 141 billion hryvnias.

It was also reported that from 1 January, individual entrepreneurs will pay higher taxes.
