Pilates, circles and a recording studio: the host of the «House of Culture» Dantes visited Bashtanka in Mykolaiv Oblast

The host of the «House of Culture» program, Volodymyr Dantes, visited the Mykolaiv region and saw how the residents of Bashtanka live and how the buildings destroyed by the Russians are being rebuilt.

First, Volodymyr Dantes visited Mykolaiv and inspected local shelters near public transport stops. He also got acquainted with the public association «Tut» and the creative platform «My art».

In Bashtanka, Volodymyr Dantes was impressed by the stories of the locals, who told about how to win back the city from the occupiers. We will remind that on the morning of March 1, 2022, the local authorities received information that the enemy had begun to advance in the direction of Bashtanka. However, local residents took up arms and drove out the Russians together.

The program team also visited the local cultural center, which was restored after the shelling. Fitness, yoga, and pilates clubs have already started working there. Also in the city, the shelter in the house of culture is being repaired.

In the end, director and film actor Andriy Lidahovskyi organized a screening of the film «My Quiet Thoughts» for the residents of Bashtanka.
