Body armor will be issued to Kherson city hall officials, but not to all

Employees of executive bodies of the Kherson City Council will be provided with bulletproof vests. This one is connected with increased Russian shelling of the city.

The order on the transfer of bulletproof vests was signed by the head of the Kherson local military administration, Roman Mrochko, NikVesti writes.

The bulletproof vests will be given to 17 employees of the city council's executive bodies: the public works inspection, the department for the development of communal property of the district, the department of economy and investments, the department of budget and finance, the department for architectural and construction control, as well as the department of education and the department of culture.

The cost of one bulletproof vest is 5,600 hryvnias.

We will remind you that on March 29, 2022, Russian troops launched a missile attack from the air on the building of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration. The blow happened when RMA employees went to work. On April 5, the names of all those who died after the rocket attack became known.
