Zelenskyy instructed the government to provide free meals for all schoolchildren next year

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to provide free meals for all Ukrainian schoolchildren next year.

The president stated this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada where he presented the country's «resilience plan».

We will remind that this year 31.1 million hryvnias were allocated from the state budget for free meals for primary school students in schools of the Mykolaiv region. 42 territorial communities of the region should receive these funds in the form of a subvention.

The Ministry of Education and Science reported last week that a total of 2 billion hryvnias will be subsidized from the state budget for free meals for primary school students in various regions of Ukraine.
