The Ukrainian combat system Delta has successfully passed an information security audit. For the first time in the history of Ukraine, the military system received certification according to NATO standards.
This was reported in the Ministry of Defense.
Delta is a combat system that allows you to plan operations, monitor the battlefield in real time, and share information within a unit, brigade, group, and, if necessary, with allies. More than 600,000 enemy location objects are added to the system every month, and the military views more than 4 million enemy objects.
It is noted that the system's cyber security diagnostics lasted one and a half months. During this period, 162 information protection measures applied in it were analyzed.
«For the first time in the history of Ukraine, the military system was certified according to the standards used in NATO countries. Prior to that, similar systems were tested according to 20-year-old standards, which have lost their relevance,» said Defense Minister Rustem Umierov.
The next stage will be the introduction of Delta into operation by the Defense Forces.
We will remind you that during November-December 2023, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine introduced seven more NATO standards, in particular regarding the conduct of combat operations and training of the Navy.
As you know, as of December 2023, more than a quarter of the total number of standards (26.5%) had been implemented in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces.
