On Wednesday, March 6, in the village of Liubomyrivka of the Shevchenkove Territorial Community of the Mykolaiv District, another case of injury to the civilian population due to the detonation of an explosive object was registered.
This was reported by the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in Mykolaiv Oblast.
Rescuers note that an unknown device exploded due to a violation of mine safety rules, as a result of which a man born in 1998 received mine-explosive injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility.
According to the information of the State Emergency Service, this is the second episode of citizens' disregard of the rules of safe behavior in the last few days.
«With the onset of the spring-summer season, when citizens will begin mass preparation of their own lands, gardens, fields for sowing or planting, such episodes may increase if citizens do not follow the advice of experts,» rescuers add.
We will remind that a 26-year-old man blew himself up with ammunition near the Yavkin canal in the Snihurivka community of the Mykolaiv region.
Earlier it was reported that two cases of detonation using explosive objects were recorded in the Mykolaiv region.
