Kherson region received almost 800 million hryvnias in aid for the heating season.

As the press service of the Kherson regional state administration reports, these funds are aimed at providing solid fuel and cash vouchers to all residents of de-occupied communities.

«So far, we have already managed to attract almost 800 million hryvnias of aid — in the form of cash vouchers and solid fuel. This became possible thanks to active cooperation with local authorities, benefactors and the support of the deputy head of the Office of the President, Iryna Vereshchuk. Moreover, it was even possible to exceed the primary need. In general, about 39 thousand families will receive firewood, coal, or cash assistance for free in the region,» the press service reports.

It is noted that more than 5 thousand 800 families are currently provided with heating materials.

«The work continues! Everyone who needs help will receive it by mid-November,» the press service added.

We will remind you that in the Kherson region, most of the boiler houses are currently ready for operation, and the overall level of preparation is 95%.
