«Our cities and communities are under constant Russian shelling. Even on Christmas night, terrorists staged a massive air attack. In total, this week, Russia has used more than 370 attack drones, about 280 guided aerial bombs and 80 missiles of various types against Ukraine», Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

As a reminder, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian cities on Christmas Day, 25 December, with missiles and drones. The energy sector was again targeted by Russian strikes.

In addition, due to the massive Russian attack on Ukrainian cities, consumers in Mykolaiv and the region began to have their electricity cut off in the morning of 25 December according to hourly blackout schedules.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the massive shelling of Ukraine by Russian troops on 25 December 2024. He stressed that Putin had deliberately chosen Christmas to attack.
