The Russian military in Donetsk region allegedly shot six Ukrainian prisoners of war. Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to preliminary data, during the storming of Ukrainian troops' positions in Donetsk region, Russians captured six Ukrainian servicemen and shot them dead.

«The shooting of prisoners of war is a serious violation of the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War and is classified as a serious international crime.
