He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He noted that he had received many messages from citizens about messages in anonymous telegram channels.
«This is part of the information war: Russia is spreading fakes to destabilise the situation and sow panic. After all, fear for children is the strongest emotion that propagandists rely on. I officially declare: the situation in the city is calm, there are no terrorist attacks», he said.
The mayor added that the relevant services are already working to identify these «terrorists». He also urged the citizens to trust only trusted sources and not to fall for provocations.
As a reminder, members of the Mykolaiv City Council appealed to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers with a proposal to involve police officers in checking educational institutions in the city in case of reports of mining.
