The Kobleve Village Council supported changes to the boundaries and area of the Tylihulskyi Regional Landscape Park within the community.
The relevant draft decision was considered at the council session.
According to the document, the updated boundaries of the park will cover 9,900.3 hectares, of which 4,723.4 hectares are on the land of the Koblivska territorial community. The decision was made based on the recommendations of the specialised commission of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, the conclusions of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the RMA, as well as the scientific justification for adjusting the park's boundaries.
The project for updating the territory of «Tylihulskyi» was prepared by the specialists of the National Park «Buzkyi Hard». It compares the park boundaries approved in 1994 with the updated version of 2022 and proposes the expansion of the protected area.
Control over the implementation of the decision was entrusted to the land and environmental commission of the Kobleve village council.
It should be noted that the relevant approval from the Kobleve community was required to approve the new boundaries of the Tylihulskyi park.
The landscape park was created in 1995 and at that time its area was 8195 hectares. However, after topographical surveys, it was found that the park's area is 9900 hectares, 1700 hectares more than the initially defined area.
It should be reminded that in 2018-2019, the documentation for the park's zoning was being developed, but due to errors and an open criminal case, the process was blocked.
Earlier, NikVesti reported that the park's most pressing problem now is the lack of parking spaces for tourists' vehicles, which can harm the unique plants on the territory of the Tiligul Estuary. This is described in the article NikVesti: The Tylihul Estuary in Wartime: How Nature and Tourism Co-Exist in the Face of Growing Popularity
Parking spaces are to be arranged outside the park, but the boundaries need to be approved first.
In the meantime, there is no official car park, and there are restrictions on entering certain areas within the park.
