The Odesa Prosecutor's Office has started a pre-trial investigation into the shelling of the port infrastructure

The Odesa prosecutor's office began an investigation into the July 10 shelling of Odesa's port infrastructure, resulting in the death of two people.

This is reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.

As you know, a 50-year-old truck driver and a 37-year-old port employee died as a result of the attack, another port employee was injured and hospitalized. Warehouses, cargo vehicles and a civilian sea vessel were also damaged.

Based on this fact, the Odesa Prosecutor's Office started a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Law enforcement officers are continuing their inspection, a complete list of destruction and damage is being established.

We will remind that on the night of July 10, air defense in the Mykolaiv region destroyed four unmanned aerial vehicles of the «Shahed 131/136» type.
