Residents of Voznesensk, whose housing was completely destroyed as a result of Russian aggression, were issued 15 certificates for the purchase of new housing within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program.
Antonina Sharat, Acting Chief of the Voznesensk District Military Administration, announced this at a briefing, NikVesti reports.
The total amount of certificates for the purchase of new housing amounted to 18 million hryvnias. Residents of a five-story building in Voznesensk, which was destroyed as a result of a rocket attack, received housing certificates.
«15 applications were received for destroyed property, this is a 27-apartment residential building that was damaged in the city of Voznesensk. Applications have already been processed, certificates in the amount of 18 million have been calculated, and now the victims are looking for housing,» said Antonina Sharata.
In addition, 11 million hryvnias were charged to residents of the Voznesensk district for damaged housing under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
«As for damaged housing, especially private, we have almost 700 objects entered in the register of damaged property, 174 applications were received from citizens for compensation of expenses, 133 have already been satisfied in the two communities of Voznesensk and Doroshivka. In general, there are damaged objects in 5 communities. To date, 11 million hryvnias have already been allocated for compensation for damaged property,» Antonina Sharata said.
How does «eVidnovlennia» work in the Mykolayiv region
From May 10, the «eVidnovlennia» compensation program for damaged housing will be in effect in Ukraine.
The Mykolaiv Region is one of the five regions that are leaders in terms of the amount of compensation received for damaged property within the framework of the «eVidnovlennia» program.
Thus, during the year, 140 million hryvnias were paid out as part of the program to residents of the Mykolaiv region, whose property was damaged as a result of Russian aggression.
As you know, from January 1, 2024, Ukrainians who repaired damaged housing as a result of Russian aggression at their own expense may also claim compensation.
In September 2023, a resident of Mykolaiv, convicted of collaborationism, applied for compensation for property damaged by Russian shelling under the «eVidnovlennia» program. The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that the collaborator will not receive money from the state.
Previously, Mykolaiv Oblast was among the top five oblasts, where the largest number of applications for the «eVidnovlennia» program were submitted. However, the region has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive assistance in the shortest possible time for the restoration of housing before the autumn and winter cold.»
Currently , there are already 30 commissions working in the Mykolayiv region to restore housing damaged during the full-scale invasion under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
And in January of this year, the first resident of Mykolaiv purchased an apartment under the «eVidnovlennia» housing certificate.
