Implemented the standards of education of the Russian Federation during the occupation: a resident of the Kherson region is suspected of collaborationism

The law enforcement officers accuse the former associate professor of the department of one of Kherson universities for collaborative activities.

This is reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that in the summer of 2022, the man went to cooperate with the Russians and worked as a «dean» at one of the faculties of the Kherson National Technical University captured by the Russians during the occupation.

«In a pseudo-position, the man implemented the standards of education of the Russian Federation, therefore he taught subjects exclusively in Russian. He carried out the general management of the faculty, approved the schedule of classes and coordinated the accommodation of students in the dormitory,» the message reads.

The Kherson regional prosecutor's office sent an indictment to the court against the man for collaborative activity, which is provided for in part 3 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
