President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with a bipartisan congressional delegation during his visit to the United States.

At the meeting, which is reported on the official website of the head of state, Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed the delegation about the current security situation in Ukraine and prospects for the next year, as well as about Russia's preparation for possible actions.

The President emphasized that now, at the end of the year, there is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the USA.

He thanked the US Congress, both parties and chambers, for their «unwavering commitment» to protecting freedom around the world. The president also added that he is looking forward to a meeting in Washington, where he will present a victory plan to President Joe Biden.

«This is a very specific plan on how to strengthen Ukraine without any decisions or pressure from Russia. This plan does not depend on any decisions of Putin,» said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy began his official visit to the USA from Pennsylvania. Next, he will visit New York and Washington.
