«I would like to sincerely thank the entire deputy corps for our five years of joint work, for your support, responsible decisions and ability to work together, even when our positions were different. I am grateful to the executive staff of the council and all the employees for their daily work and professionalism», she said.

By the decision of the council, the powers of Hanna Koverznieva as a councillor from the «Servant of the People» party and the head of the Mykolaiv District Council of the eighth convocation were terminated early. All the councillors present voted for this decision — there were no votes of «against».

The same decision appointed Deputy Chairman Andrii Dobrovolskyi as acting chairman of the district council.

In addition, during the session, three more members of the Mykolaiv District Council resigned early:

  • Mykola Karpenko — from the party «Nash Krai»;
  • Yevhen Lytvyniuk — from the party «Nash Krai»;
  • Tetiana Malenko — from the party «Proposal».

We would like to remind you that on 19 December, at a session meeting, the deputies of the Mykolaiv Regional Council prematurely terminated the powers of Vira Myronova from the party «Proposal».

What other members of the regional council have resigned?

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, some members of the Mykolaiv regional council have decided to resign their mandates.

In 2025, Svitlana Fedorova, elected from the party «Nash Krai», and Vladyslav Neveselyi from the party «Servant of the People», resigned from the Mykolaiv Regional Council of the 8th convocation.

Yurii Kormyshkin announced his decision to resign in June 2024, stating that he was leaving politics. At the same time, the councillor said that Nadiia Ivanova had been elected as the new head of the «Nash Krai» party faction in the Mykolaiv Regional Council. And the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal ruled to ban the activities of the pro-Russian political party «Nash Krai» on the territory of Ukraine.

In June 2024, the mandate was also resigned by Ruslan Neroda, a member of the regional council, who was elected from the party «For the Future». Prior to that, his wife, Aliona Kara, resigned her mandate.

Oksana Kaliuzhna, a councillor from the party «For the Future», also resigned her mandate.

In March 2023, five members of the Mykolaiv Regional Council resigned their mandates at once.

Instead, two new councillors from the party «Nash Krai» were elected to the Mykolaiv Regional Council to replace those who resigned.
