Communities of the Mykolaiv region purchased 52 school buses through Prozorro Market in two years

Over the past two years, communities of the Mykolaiv region have purchased 52 school buses through the Prozorro Market electronic catalog. All school transport of Ukrainian production.

This was reported by the «Professional Procurement» site, writes NikVesti.

In total, during this period, one thousand buses were purchased in Ukraine for the amount of over 3 billion hryvnias.

It should be noted that the largest number of buses were purchased in Lviv Oblast — 93 and Kyiv Oblast — 90. At the same time, communities of Odesa Oblast purchased 55 buses, and Kherson Oblast — only 2.

As noted by the First Deputy Prime Minister — the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, all buses were produced in Ukraine at four national plants.

«Last year, thanks to this program, approximately 10,000 workers of factories and related enterprises in Ukraine had a job and a resource for development. After all, 212 Ukrainian companies are additionally involved in the production of one domestic bus. Next year, the Government also provided a subvention for the purchase of Ukrainian-made buses,» she said.

For two years, the Government has allocated subventions to communities for the purchase of school buses. As reported by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Nadiia Kuzmychova, in 2024 the budget for the purchase of school transport amounted to 1.2 billion hryvnias. In 2025, this amount will increase to 1.6 billion hryvnias.

We will remind, in August of this year, seven new school buses were handed over to four communities of the Mykolaiv region for students who need a ride.
