The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) talked about the possibilities of obtaining grant funds for small and medium-sized business entrepreneurs.

This was discussed today, December 4, during the business forum «Forum of financial opportunities 2024 in Mykolaiv», writes NikVesti.

The head of the competitive commission of the program of financial support for business from Mykolaiv RMA, Mykola Marinov, emphasized that support for entrepreneurs in wartime is an important factor for strengthening the economic stability of the region.

«The regional military administration, together with the regional council, are very helpful in ensuring that funds from the regional budget are allocated for such programs next year, so that we can better support local businesses in order to strengthen economic stability,» said Mykola Marinov.

Inna Pankul, head of the investment activity department of the Mykolaiv RMA, noted that in 2024, 5 million hryvnias were allocated to the business financial support program, distributed among 27 winners of the competitive selection.

«In 2023, 5 million hryvnias were allocated, more than 60 applications were submitted for participation in the program, and 28 subjects received financial support. In 2024, this program was also worked out: 5 million were again allocated, and 27 enterprises received financial support for the development of their business,» said Inna Pankul.

Inna Pankul also informed about the conditions for entrepreneurs who wish to apply for participation in the competition.

«The conditions are quite loyal, so I think most of you will be able to participate in the competition. Within the framework of this program, entrepreneurs had to either purchase fixed assets during the previous budget year, or take a loan for the development of their business, or a loan for the reconstruction of destroyed fixed assets, and also, if they returned to Mykolaiv Oblast from other regions,» added Inna Pankul.

Stages of receiving financial assistance:

  • Announcement of the competition;
  • Submission of a package of documents;
  • Verification of documents;
  • Formation of the list of competition participants;
  • Presentation of projects at the meeting of the competition committee;
  • Determination of winners;
  • Obtaining financial support.

It is noted that the implementation of this project is planned for next year as well.

«In the next year, it is planned to allocate from 5 to 7 million hryvnias for the implementation of this program. A competition will be announced, a package of documents will be created, which you can familiarize yourself with on the website of the regional military administration or the department of economic development. We are also involving the regional support fund for entrepreneurs of the Mykolaiv region for the organizational aspects of this competition,» concluded Inna Pankul.

It was previously reported that the competition for mini-projects on social entrepreneurship has ended in Mykolaiv. According to the results of the competitive selection, 8 out of 18 participants who were registered in the competition won and received a grant to finance their business ideas.

We would like to remind you that various programs covering both state and foreign grant opportunities are working in Mykolaiv to support and develop business. These programs aim to help entrepreneurs with the opening and financing of their projects.

It should be noted that the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Center has provided grants for the opening and development of businesses in the total amount of about 40 million hryvnias since 2022.
