There is only one left: almost all the bridges damaged by the war have been restored in the Mykolayiv region

One of the rebuilt bridges

Almost all the bridges that were destroyed as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine were restored in the Mykolaiv region.

This was announced by the head of Mykolaiv OVA Vitaliy Kim on the air of the telethon «United News» (Telemarafon «Yedyni novyny»), «NikVesti» writes.

As previously reported, an 84-meter-long bridge crossing over the Ingulets River was built in the Horokhiv community of the Mykolaiv region in five months. Vitaly Kim said that it was the penultimate bridge that needed to be restored.

— That is, during this time we managed to restore almost all bridges, except for one. We will do it too. First of all, this is a signal to people. They see that recovery is coming quickly and everywhere. When we opened the first rebuilt bridge, people cried. They did not believe that it would be done in 2-3 months. It is important for people to see that infrastructure and critical facilities are being restored everywhere, not selectively. 98%, almost all, of housing and public housing facilities and critical infrastructure have been rebuilt, — said Vitaly Kim.

We will remind you that in August in the Mykolaiv Oblast, road workers began to rebuild the destroyed bridge over the railway on the Kalynivka — Snihurivka road.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure noted that a total of 6 bridges were destroyed in the Mykolaiv region. In 2023, two bridges near the de-occupied Snigurivka in Mykolaiv Oblast are planned to be overhauled. The cost of the works is 300 million 792 thousand 500 hryvnias.
